About coving & decorative plasterwork
New coving can be fitted throughout a property or in individual rooms, with mitres cut and joints filled so the runs read as one continuous line. Profiles range from simple modern cove to deeper traditional cornice depending on the age and proportions of the room.
In older properties, existing cornice and ceiling roses are often damaged, painted over or partly missing. Sections can be repaired and made good so the original detail is kept rather than stripped out.
Decorative plasterwork is usually the last stage of a project, so it is planned around the rest of the schedule and left clean and ready for the decorator.
